Meeting King Hussein in Jordon.
My wonderful family, and my very missed special dad.
Oh, and yes, that's an 80s hairdo courtesy of my mum. My sister and brother got off easy.
Meeting King Hussein in Jordon.
I have been working with words and pictures in one way or another my whole life. In fact, I sent off my first novel to a publisher when I was eight years old – they were very kind and sent a reply!
My passion is being able to use my creative skills in the community space – right now I am working on short documentaries about yoga and another about kidney disease, two things I care about a lot.
I was on dialysis for nearly four years and have had two kidney transplants – for which I am eternally grateful.

I grew up travelling the world, courtesy of my father’s job as an Australian diplomat. As a child, I spoke Italian, French, reasonable Arabic and had a very bad mouth in Vietnamese.
I have always loved being creative – whether that is writing a story or trying out a new recipe.
I am also a yoga teacher (25 years in – here's my yoga website), have written a novel – The Littlest Witch (the sequel
is done, I just need to find time to edit it), and am back at uni doing a second degree in film.
I also run my own small cat rescue, and try to save as many as I can from a life on the streets or being PTS.
